Actions express priorities. Since hearing this phrase for the first time about a decade ago, I have been working to evolve in my clarity of what that means while honing my skills, training, and abilities to live and work accordingly. A great deal of personal introspection has gone into better understanding myself and my priorities. The conclusion: I feel a strong calling to dedicate my career to the service of others. My greatest professional intention is to connect with my clients in a meaningful and trust-worthy way and to facilitate healthy guidance on behalf of their financial needs and goals.
Through my professional experience (via positions at a variety of organizations including Fortune 500 companies, family owned businesses, LLC’s and non-profits), I have found my strength in creating simple, relatable solutions to complex situations. My primary objective is to consult with individuals, families, and businesses and get to know their values and hopes. From there, I work to design and implement financial solutions for tax reduction, wealth accumulation, estate planning, and qualified plans in ways that feel relevant and authentically impacting.
I recognize the term “financial advisor” may carry a variety of meanings for different people. My intent is not to pretend that I know everything. Rather, my intent is to stay curious, stay informed and educated, and make meaningful connection with my clients a priority. I commit to staying true to my priority of service by surrounding myself with innovative, creative, knowledgeable and skilled team members so that I have resources in place for times when they are needed. This deep bench of capable colleagues is one of the reasons I chose to work for Prime Capital.
I was born and raised in Lawrence, Kansas. My undergraduate degree was completed in 2003 at the University of Kansas. I hold my FINRA Series 7, 63 and 66 registrations as well as life and health licenses in several states.
Beyond the desk, my priorities revolve around health and wellness, fun, and my wife, Sara, and our four kids. We have an abundant, colorful, and adventurous lifestyle of skiing, golfing, hiking, and fly fishing in the great state of Colorado. I have so much to feel grateful for.
