Pierson McAtee is a plan specialist for Qualified Plan Advisors. He has a passion for helping businesses get the most out of their retirement plans.

Pierson currently holds his Series 65 license and Life & Health Insurance license, serving as a fiduciary and he focuses on assisting business owners make more informed financial decisions, both within their businesses and on a personal basis. As a former student-athlete, Pierson knows the value of taking care of your team. Through his experiences, he recognizes that when a team is successful, everyone is successful.

Pierson grew up in Manhattan, Kansas and is a proud Kansas State Wildcat Letterman. At K-State, Pierson played five years of college basketball, having an Elite Eight NCAA tournament run and earning a Big 12 conference title in consecutive years. As an undergraduate student, Pierson earned a dual major in Accounting and Finance as a Magna Cum Laude. After earning a full scholarship in his fourth year, he went on to get his Masters in Accountancy (MAcc). During his time as a student-athlete, Pierson was elected as the President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for three consecutive years by his peers.

Pierson currently lives in Overland Park, KS with his wife Alyson. Outside of the office, he enjoys playing golf, spending time with his “little” from Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) and watching sporting events!
