For nearly 30 years, I have been the architect of unique financial strategies on behalf of a diverse group of investors with demanding professions. It’s a privilege to help my clients achieve their financial goals. I prioritize communication as a key component in the process, and my focus is on providing personal attention. I strive to be counted on and to remain knowledgeable to help clients plan for better tomorrows.
My career started in a brokerage firm where I was the health insurance expert for other agents while also helping clients directly. I worked with Medicare, long-term care and life insurance. My next role was with Mutual of New York, first as the office manager, then as the firm recruiter. I also helped clients with investments and other products. Feeling an urge to further develop my skills, particularly in compliance, I moved to Prudential where I held the role of Operations and Control Manager. It was in that role that I discovered my true passion for working directly with clients, so the next logical step was to seek out an opportunity that would allow me to do just that.
In 2000, I accepted a position with the company formerly known as Aetna (now Voya), where I made on-site visits to various locations and met with employees at their places of business. From state and county locations, to school districts and the Kansas Board of Regents, I had the opportunity to directly impact the lives of the people I served.
It was in 2007 when I really started focusing on developing and implementing personalized financial plans for individuals and small businesses. My goal is to serve clients with the utmost sophistication and creativity.
My husband Mark, who is also a financial advisor, is the love of my life. He and I have been married for almost 20 years. I am deeply involved with my three children, Jordan, Kya and Cole, my three grandchildren, Holden, Harper and Hadley, and my four dogs, Phoenix, Breck, Cabo and Gus. The whole crew keeps me quite active when I am not working. Food is one of my biggest passions. I love to cook and create dishes that delight my family and friends.. I also love playing sports more than watching them. And I am obsessed with traveling and exploring new places. I enjoy talking to my clients about the places they visit, happily adding new destinations to my list for upcoming adventures.
